Prominently sited at the southeast corner of the campus, the complex helps transition from the lower elevation fronting Ocean Avenue and the campus core – a change of 60 feet. The 157,000sf Wellness Center contains a performance gym, dance studios, a 25m indoor swimming pool, and support facilities for the championship football team.

Developed with local and state bond funding, the Wellness Center was designed to LEED standards at a construction cost of $68 million. Construction was completed in Fall 2007.
